Having recently moved from Chelsea to a more spacious SoHo location, the minimalist-fashion purveyor ANTHOM now has even more room to present merchandise in its distinct, gallery-like way. Here, against lofty white walls, you’ll find a harmonious mix of affordable staples and pricier investment pieces from hard-to-find, off-the-radar designers like Carolina Santo Domingo, Diemme, Ji Oh, and Wendelborn. Co-founder Ashley Turchin, who launched the store to accommodate the high/low fashion aesthetic preferred in Lower Manhattan, takes a hands-on approach with customers, offering styling advice and, despite the starkly decorated surroundings, never allowing them to feel intimidated.
