When Suzzan Atala first opened Tuza as a pop-up shop to sell her handmade jewelry alongside that of local Mexican designers, its popularity became so great that a permanent outpost in Roma Norte seemed only natural. Trained in London and in her home country of Mexico, Atala lives and works between Mexico City and New York City. Her designs—bold, timeless, and individualistic—speak to a cosmopolitan sensibility defined both by her native land and her travels abroad.
