El Moro opened its doors in 1935 and has been serving churros to Mexico City ever since. At this churrería, golden-fried pastries (served with your choice of rich chocolate, caramel, or condensed milk) and dense hot-chocolate beverages are churned out in a bustling old-school setting. While there are several locations throughout the city, the original, located in Centro Histórico and open 24 hours, is the only one that serves up a slice of history with your dessert.
