While the beautiful Casa Luis Barragán is an essential stop, it often overshadows a remarkable spot next door: the Archivo Diseño y Arquitectura, a museum and gallery whose collection spans a massive range of industrial design and bibliographical resources on architecture. Open to the public by appointment, it’s worth a visit for the beautifully curated gallery exhibits, not to mention the stunning clay-and-soil-garden pavillion. Entry is free. Closed on Sundays and Mondays.
