Founded in 2014 in an unassuming alley off Melrose Place, Croft Alley specializes in inventive, locally sourced, California-focused comfort food, all in a quaint and communal-dining atmosphere. Chef-owner Phuong Tran’s signature feel-good dishes—French egg scramble, chlorophyll yogurt, and tuna melt—have garnered Croft Alley a cult following, and we’re partial to the burrata salad (baby kale, celery-leaf oil, tomato jam) as well. Of note: if you find yourself lodged at the Standard Hotel, in West Hollywood, you’ll find a sister Croft Alley location tucked inside.
